VINGELRUNDAN IN STOCKHOLM!

Stockholmers are people too, with feelings and needs! Just with slightly bigger mortgages than the rest of us. We love Broder Daniel, but also Mauro Scocco. Life is one half-strength lager, but have you tried a sausage in a baguette from Brunos korvbar? The view from Alvsborgsbron is wow, but Mosebacke on a summer evening is not half bad either.

This autumn we are taking the spectacular Vingelrundan to the capital and letting the people there enjoy wine and exercise in reasonable proportions.

Block out everything else in your life on 19 September 2026, because that is when the first Stockholm edition of Wine Mechanics wine run VINGELRUNDAN starts.

Starting on Soder, we make our way via eight wine stations to the finish in Slakthusomradet. At every stop we taste a new wine (5 cl). The route is about ten kilometres, and every start group gets a bunch of ambassadors to show the way and cheer you on. You go at your own pace, with the caveat that there is a cut-off time. If you want to cheat and take public transport, be carried by a friend or ride an e-scooter, that is completely fine of course.

Once you reach Forbindelsehallen there is an extraordinary sweat party, a raffle with excellent prizes and great food from local restaurant friends. The wine taps are fully open. Friends, enemies and family are all welcome to join the sweat party.

To run or walk the race you need to be 18 or older. The 995 SEK entry fee includes eight wine tastings, some snacks along the way and one hell of a party afterwards!
